When you feel bad, do some selfcare

Some days, you aren't feeling the best. It doesn't matter for what reason, but maybe you feel confused, angry, stressed, or just a bit down, and you don't know how to get out of it. You don't really want to speak to anyone, you don't have that much energy and you don't know what to do about it.

Well, in my experience, when that happens, all you need is to take care of yourself again. Do some selfcare.

Now of course, you could put a face mask, make a smoothie and relax, but that isn't necessarily everyone's idea of selfcare. Some people might like to read or exercise, or maybe do some writing. Whatever you consider "taking care of yourself", you should do.

For me, I didn't have the best evening last night, and I didn't feel that good. So this morning, I put on a clay mask and made myself a nice breakfast. It reminded me not to dwell on unimportant things, and gave me some peace of mind.

I'm not saying that a little selfcare will solve all your life problems, but it sure doesn't hurt to focus on yourself again, and it might just relax your mind and give you the answer you're looking for.

Now, don't get carried away and try to convince yourself that selfcare is watching netflix or scrolling on tiktok all day, because it's not. That will only waste your time, and will leave you feeling worse, and more useless than you did before.

So go on that jog, make that extra breakfast, whatever you feel like you need. I hope this helped, have a great week🫶, bye!
